Yeah, I was in one of the dentist office areas looking through a desk and turned around and one of those whack dudes was just standing there right behind me. He reacted about the same time I did. Jeepers!!!

Awesome though.

Man - that same thing happened to me, only in that area with all the cold mist - I almost jumped out of my chair. So awesome.

I think we need a Bioshock section... can you imagine this place when Crysis is released . Way too many thread.....

Anyone know how to disable all the start up videos? Can I simply remove the blink videos from the directory like in BF?

All running super smooth without any hickups at 1920x1200 everything maxed out in XP. Can't be bothered to install new drivers in my Vista partition.

Yeah I just did that part too. Freakin crazy.

I'm going to restart the game on Hard mode though.

Medium is really easy so far.

I have had 9 first aid kits for a while and now I have a pretty huge surplus of ammo as well as Adam.

I'm probably missing out on quite a bit of the suspense by having it so easy.

No, I haven't gotten that far yet.

I haven't been able to put much time into the game yet. I'm at the dentists' offices right now.

The fighting just seems way too easy at this point. I need SOME challenge.

There was one part that made my laugh out loud though.

In the dentist area where you come across the defense gun that fires rockets... I shocked it, ran in and hacked it, and it started firing rockets through an office window at the splicers inside. They were screaming and running around and I was running out of the way so the rockets wouldn't kill me if they hit the walls. Pretty damn funny.

But yeah, I'm definitely restarting on Hard mode. The game is freaking awesome, and id be happy to play through the first portion again to get a bit more of a challenge.

BTW, at 85Hz with vsync OFF the tearing isn't too bad. There is some sort of bug in this game related to vsync, fullscreen\windowed mode and refresh rates. When I change the resolution, vsync or if I restart the game, the settings are pretty much randomized. I have to screw with it a few times for things to do what I want them to do. At least it does work though. Some places are just a bit too graphics heavy to run with vsync on, so I turn it off and things smooth out really well.

CaptNKILL, It gets harder once you start taking on the Big Daddies. You will be using most of your supplies on them. On hard the enemies just have more HP and you use more plasmid per attack. You don't have to restart to switch to hard, just go into the options.

It ticks me off how the plasmids keep rearranging themselves on my keyboard no matter how I arrange them in that special plasmid machine organizer Didn't the video with the guy and his strange narrating voice say that it was "plasma-quik"? Maybe they changed it because it sounded too chocolatey
