*Feedback Alert*

Bioshock is the most stable, best release of a video game in history. Securom rocks. It has given me long hours of amusement watching forum members get their panties in a bind over the smallest things they don't like.

I dunno about "most stable." I was playing for three or four hours, trying to scour Apollo Square, and suddenly, all the areas I had cleared were restocked, then the game crashed. No blue screen, just a regular app crash.

So I veto your most stable vote.

I blame your PC... I have yet to experiance a crash and on release I played the game for 6 hours straight... The only time the game crashed on me is when I used the FOV Hack.

No crashes here either. In fact, I've not seen a crash in anything since I reinstalled Vista from scratch after I moved up to the SATA hard drive from IDE models a few weeks back. I attribute that to having all the latest updates and current drivers installed. Vista gameplay is rock solid for me right now.

Now that I've said that, it will probably crash tonight

Well, you can blame what you like. Personally, I haven't had any other of my installed games (BF2, BF2142, F.E.A.R., Trackmania, UT2004, Q4, D3, etc.) crash. So, I do not believe my system has a problem.

Also, I had a couple sessions of Bioshock go for 4-5 hours with no crashes. I don't think the game is tragically flawed, just needs some minor updates.

I am not blaming Bioshock for my crash, I did it to myself screwing around with drivers. So 2k uped it to 5, BFD. That still doen't stop the Rootkit.

Got my game today!

It's great. I personally like the graphics, but most of the time, like in any other shooter, I'm just walking by, not paying attention to the design. However, the pictures, the music and the voice-acting are outstanding.

Btw. (SPOILER)
What are the big D's without little sisters for? Is there any other use than turning them against splicers?

Use them for defense... basically once you get rid of the little sisters they just wander around with nothing to do.

I think the trick is to use it on him when the splicers are nearby and then go hide. I tried it and he tore up the splicers.
