I tried installing SetPoint and now the control is even worse.
Hmm... thats odd.

You should be able to just paste that, double click the file and let it install.

Thats what I've always done on every XP install.

Did you try setting setpoint the way I described?

Can somebody post a picture of their LE version of Bioshock? My didn't come with the custom game case so I want to make sure I didn't get ripped off.

Anyone else having trouble with their character sliding around? The demo and retail both installed great, look great, the demo played great.

WIth retail, as soon as I get out of the bathosphere my character starts sliding like crazy. I can move him, but he just keeps sliding anywhich way. Irritating as all heck.

A friend who has ended the game in 360 says that

- It is linear - there are no decisions - except killing the sisters - compare it with Doom3 but with things as the plasmids

- He says that it is not by no means a masterpiece, but is a good game

Are closed scenes with little margin of election . It is linear enough, is a shooter to the old usage , sweetened .

A good game and good history , but the game not has deserving the quantity of ten that has

In no case a masterpiece

My Steam version isn't unlocking...

Most games are linear... the only non linear game is an MMO. Just becuase a game like GTA allows you to run around and do alot of things doesn't mean its non linear, you still have to accomplish the tasks the game has set up for you in that order to complete the game. I think the non linear aspect of this game is how its played. Everyone will have a different play style, some will focus on plasmids more then they will on guns.

I was trying to play and it's saying.... When the game is officially released, you'll be be able to play immediately. How gay is that? I've already completed the pre-loading 100% and steam says play now. I told you steam was super stupid!

OK well I wasn't able to solve the mouse issue so I just tuned it up with an acceptable speed/DPI setting. Also I know many of you wide-screeners would be loath to do this, but you might want to consider switching to a 4:3 mode until the FOV is fixed - I'm actually running in 1280x960 right now with 4xAA and frankly the game looks just as good, and I can see a lot more, not to mention the functioning FOV feels better too.

Of course that would only be a good option if your monitor can switch to a 4:3 mode (but I believe most can). Thanks CaptN for all your suggestions.

The steam version just activated. But now it's downloading more files. Says it's only 78% done. I'm downloading at over 300 kb/s but it's taking a long time to advance. Took about 3 minutes to go from 78 to 79.

WTF did they preload? Only 75% of the game?
