I have a biostar motherboard with the Nvidia GeForce 6100 and nForce 410 chipset (low budget system). I have run Linux on it with youe drivers and it worked well (except Linux using Knoppix and Kubuntu was very unstable). I don't like the Windows command line tool set or environment so I have tried Solaris but X would not work and I could not determine which driver to use. I see from Sun's list that the Ethernet chip is supported (ID 10de,0268). I used scanpci and Knoppix to get the pci device list but I am not sure which device is for video. None of the drivers shown at Nvidia list any of the devices that scanpci found. Does anybody know of a driver that will work?
