I try to use my linux pc as an hcpc, i have a 7600 gs card and an hitachi pjtx100 projector. To be able to see new hdtv video, i need to sync my video card either @ 24hz or 48hz to have perfectly smooth stream. Since the projector is able to sync at any freq, i can to that with windows, setting the frequency i need with the tool powerstrip. powerstrip is even able to give the modeline it has found in several flavors, including linux modeline.
unfortunately, trying to use theses modeline fail , in fine the whole system always at 60 hz, whatever frequency i try. if someone has some success in setting nvidia card at non standard freq for hcpc use, please tell me how to ! I join the nvidia-bug-report, and the log of X session with --verboselevel 6 Thanks Alexandre |
