Question Quadro FX 3450 32-bit libGL.so.1

(Sorry in advance if cross-posting is a sin here, as this is a cross-post from the Workstation Graphics Cards forum)

I'm running a Quadro FX 3450 in a 64bit RHEL4 Dell workstation for some high-end stereo viewing applications. I downloaded and installed the latest 64bit drivers for this card, but the application that I'm running (Schrodinger's Maestro interface) seems to require the 32-bit version of libGL.so.1, instead of the 64-bit libGL.so.1 I have in /usr/lib64.

If I obtained the 32-bit library and stuck it in /usr/lib, would that even work? If so, how would I go about doing so? It seems like those libraries are in the embedded tarball in the install script on NVidia's website, which won't run on my 64-bit workstation, so I'm doubly-stumped.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Its not clear from your post what you downloaded or installed, however the 64bit driver package on NVIDIA's website provides the option, at install time, to install the 32bit compatibility libraries. You should not need to manually install anything.

Thanks - I'd downloaded the x86_64 100.14.11 package (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.11-pkg2.run) and I must've missed that option the first time around. Selecting it on reinstall fixed me up great. Thanks, netllama!
