Just finishing up my install. I'll come back with some shots later. I'm planning on playing on the hardest difficulty setting and I'm going to try to make this last as long as possible. Oooo done, perfect timing.

Does the screen still blur when you pan the mouse left & right like the demo did?

If any lingering doubts remained, whatever notion of realism the designers initially intended goes up in smoke as the single-player campaign winds to its conclusion. First you encounter enemies firing Panzerschreck antitank weapons at you because, well...every shooter since Quake has to have rocket soldiers, right? And of course, what Nazi-infested shooter would be complete without the obligatory freakish supersoldiers wearing ominous full-length black trench coats, who with their hand-carried MG42's can end your life in the blink of an eye?

Sounds like they started out good but towards the end the game jets off course...

The gameplay just seems way too cartoony. I mean, upgrades? Not quite realistic at all...THAT is what really bugs me about this game. Sure it's different, just doesn't seem real at all. I know COD2 wasn't realistic with the health system, but what game is in that aspect?

MOH is more realistic in level design to COD2's "tunnel" level design, but MOH has always been more "arcade-y" and therefore, to me, it's fun, because I usually find games like the old Ghost Recon series quite boring. I mean, the game tries to be uber-realistic, but you're don't have use of all your sense in the game, therefore it can never be completely realistic, so that type game just gets frustrating.

That's motion blur, and is what all new games are trying to achieve, or most new [good] games.

Go watch the movement of The Incredibles (Pixar) to "Monster House" and you'll see the difference between using motion blur and no motion blur.

Motion blur is ok when you're sprinting or something like that but not standing still just mildly moving the mouse back and forth Makes it feel like my framerate is crappy or something.
