I installed the latest nvidia drivers.
My system is dell latitude d630, NVIDIA Quadro NVS 135M. When I try to hibernate, I receive an error: journal commit io error and I cannot do anything, system looses option to write to the harddrive and I must reboot. Also if I use a system for some time same thing happens. I was able to figure out that above is because of nvidia drivers, after removing the driver from xorg.conf I can hibernate and computer does not hang, Any ideas why nvidia driver could be doing it? thx Bart |
