I wouldn't advice downloading/using trainers unless you absolutely sure they're clean after scaning them with an antivirus program that has excellent threat detection rates. You don't want trojans and cd-key stealers.

This one is a shot from beta with terrain deformation.

These are from the full version. No real deformations.

Anyone else noticed the same thing? Both were taken in DX10 mode all details maxed.

@ FlashFreeze

Terrain deformation is MP only due to the late implementation of the feature.
Would you like to know more?

Thank you for the info Gnaddel.

Man what a letdown. Still better to have it in MP than not having it at all I guess.

I haven't got around checking the physics reactive particle system but I hope they didnt cut that one out as well.

I wouldn't count on that. What would you like to see the devs work for, more MP features or SP terrain deformation?
Most people will stop to care for the SP when they have finished it once. Including me, obviously.

I sure hope so zer0. It looks pretty unlikely to me though. In that link Gnaddel provided they say they had problems with path finding and cutscenes when they tried adding the deformation to the single player part because the singleplayer wasn't built around having this feature from the start.

Yea exactly how I feel about this game. Its majorly an MP game. I had L O A D S of fun in MP Beta but now its single player looks a bit boring to me. This game's MP is nowhere near comparable to its SP in terms of howmuch fun it is.
Artilleries flying over the map, carpet bombs and nukes plus the looks of pounded terrain...

REQUEST:

Can someone post a ScreenShot of the USSR Getting annihilated?

I'm tired of seeing NYC getting ripped to shreds, and I'm interested in something more realistic, IE:
Russia Losing to America

haha

where are the moscow ss's?

well it was a great experience while it lasted, i was hooked on the story and it made me think of real life had the cold war acutally started and of late the conflicts are still a risk

fantastic story, graphics, sound and gameplay and not a single glitch or crash for me

im sad its over

the credits are great too with a video of some of the funny bugs playing
