I have become fond of the MX-2 and I have never looked back to AS5
Both are excellent but the MX-2 has the lead right now from my own personal experience. For application use 2 pieces of scotch tape and then a credit card to apply the layer. When done peal off the tape and you should have a PERFECT layer ![]()

From personal experience, the difference between Ceramique and AS5 is a maximum of 2C. Depending on how you look at it, Ceramique wins because it's non conductive, AS5 wins with the lower temp.
I use AS5 since the heatspreaders on modern processors are big and the cache and other traces are protected by it, but for older processors, for GPUs and MPUs that don't have a heatspreader, I prefer Ceramique. |
