Default linux mandriva 2008 beta 2

I download NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.06-pkg1.run and start with "sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.06-pkg1.run" but it not soppoted - say. What to do ???

yes but the sense has not enough. Error on compile Kernel.

And why such company as nvidia will not make automatic definition of a videocard and as consequence of drivers for it, on a site. i mine, that ONLINE has come on a site, download the driver. And all. It would be excellent.

I'm not sure that I fully understand your question, however the official NVIDIA driver packages are always available here:

You probably don't have the kernel-source package installed. The nvidia module cannot compile if the kernel's source headers are not available.

I mine like - windowsupdate site. Autodetecting hardware and resend to available driver.

No, in process installing get error like: uses Linux system not supported.
Maybe driver don`t know Linux mandriva 2008

I use mandriva 2008RC2 and all is fine. To use the package from nvidia site, you must install kernel source.
then follow the classical procedure.
