Hi
I installed 100.14.19 today. Installation worked without errors, except, that i had to set CC to the gcc version used for the kernel build manually. after bringing up X11 again there's very low 3d performance and it seems i have to kill nspluginviewer manually every time konquerer starts it or konqueror freezes. I think something is wrong with glx, dunno where to start searching. nvidia-bug-report.log can be foung here: http://balin.pimpi.org/nvidia-bug-report.log I'd be glag for any hint where to start. Thanks, Frank |

I don't see anything in your bug report that suggests that the driver is not working. Although oddly the 100.14.19 driver installation appears to have failed, so I'm not clear how you're using it.
What specifically is not performing, and how are you measuring it? |

weird, i measured it by BZFlag framerate. it was rediciously low. _now_, i havn't even restarted X, it seems to work fine.
the nspluginviewer might be a different problem, dunno. Weird... Thank you for your quick reaction, i hope the problems solved themselve. if not i'm gonna return to this thread with hopefully new info... Thanks, Frank |
