I played last night for the first time in awhile because I have been playing the Witcher non stop. I have noticed a that aiming is allot smoother, so I wondering if this is something that was fixed in the latest patch or due to me changing from a 8800GTS 640 to a GT. Whatever it is my aiming is so much better now which is great as this was my only pevious gripe with the game.

I was killed by an airstrike marker last night too!
I respawned from a spawn-host and I guess my invulnerability(?) ran out right where the marker was - instant death ! can you go prone on markers to stop the airstrikes like in ET? |

I just got the game. Played in a couple of servers, all of which were less than stellar experiences. Nobody using voice chat or even text chat to communicate, hardly any teamwork or coordination. Not that I'm surprised, mind you... such is the fate of all team based games.
Can somebody recommend a good server so I can actually enjoy myself?

I just got this game to review with my 8800GT and I just have to say . . . I'm not impressed at all. I play a round or two earlier today with the computer (n00b player here) and I'm just bored. Graphics are pretty terrible and the AI is pretty terrible too. Dunno but I'm going to get the hang of the game, play some online MP and give it another go.

Is it the default to have team damage on? I have been playing bots mostly to get the hang of it and I went online the other night and ended up tk'ing a couple of times because I'm used to just shooting everyone near an objective to make sure they're not in disguise. I know with bots the default was off.
I suppose it might not be too fun if you're trying to play competitively on a public server, but personally I just focus on my objectives (which pretty much all help the team in some way) and generally I feel like I've accomplished something. Of course if your team is so incompetent that it's constantly you vs. the other team that's not quite as much fun, but I haven't had that happen much. |

You can usually hear a warning from the "command" AI of your team warn you of an incoming strike... and you can also see the orange arrows so you know to get the hell out.
Sometimes there's a lot going on and you can miss it... I always rack up the most team kills when playing field ops. If you don't wanna die, get outta the way! |

ARGH, I spent over an hour last night screwing around to get the game to stop crashing when it was loading the map...
I tried upgrading my X-Fi Drivers, nVidia drivers, still crashing. Finally I uninstalled the whole game, reinstalled and reapplied the 1.2 patch and BINGO! WTH? I never had to do that with a game before. I think the 1.2 patch screwed something up when I applied it last time... Anyone else having any crashing issues after the 1.2 patch? Still love the game though! I was just frustrating to not be able to play for an hour when I FINALLY had time to game it up!!!

I've heard of some problems with the 1.2 patch, but most of those were related to graphics problems (apparently there's an issue with texture quality, it can be fixed with a console command that I don't remember off the top of my head).

I haven't notice any problems running the 1.2 patch.
