Yeah this is what it looks like while I fly around. I have to pause for 30 seconds to a minute before the textures catch up.... Works just fine with the RTM verion, as you have seen from my screenshots.

Man, do I love this addon. My framerates have gone through the roof with Sp2 + Accleration. Previoulsy I was playing on water 2.x low with autogen and scenery complexity at very dense, and now with SP2 I can run water 2.x high and autogen and scenery complexity at extremely dense and get better framerates. I don't know why I am having so much better luck with the addon then others, but I have a feeling its because the service pack seems to have much better multi core support. Checking taskman, it shows all four of cores humming along at nearly 100% when playing the game. I am very impressed!

I get the same blurry textures with the default zoom. It looks much better after I zoomed out.
No, unless you are screaming along in a jet the textures should be perfectly sharp, like this. These are at default zoom.

Hopefully the blurries are fixed with the DX10 patch... (when it finally comes out)

Nope i got a Intel Core 2 Duo Extreme 6800 @3.2ghz with a 640mb gts @ 650/850 and i still get blurries post sp1 no matter what tweaks i use or if i run unlimited or lock @25fps

As sillyeagle has said RMT is fine with nice and sharp textures so its clear that Aces broke something in the texture loader with sp1 or robbed peter to pay paul for the much need fps boost sp1 brought,as for sp2 and the blurries im reading mixed reports atm

I really dout its been fixed though simply because if it was you can bet Aces's would be shouting about it from the roof tops....& there not infact the total silence on the matter is a little bit disconcerting

Its' true. Not only did they change the texture loader, which they admit to, but they also changed the amount of autogen, which they will not admit to.

Take a look at this. These shots are taken with the exact SAME settings. Both the pre-sp1 and post-sp1 shots are using DENSE autogen, and I even repeated the test three times to eliminate autogen variance.

Post-SP1 has LESS autogen at any given setting. I also tried with very dense autogen and had the same results.

Pre-SP1

Post-SP1
