Like the title says... is there anyone with a custom EDID file for this laptop?
I followed about any guide to get the Nvidia driver working on this laptop 6 times. I think it might be a wrong EDID file. It's the only thing I have not tried yet. Help is greatly appreciated! |

Have you disabled EDID and tried a modeline?

Care to share changes as well as Xorg.0.log?

I did a clean install, installed nvidia driver 9639, disabled bulletproof, stopped gdm, ran dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg. Answered all the questions. Then I eddited /etc/modpro.d/options and added: options nvidia NVreg_SoftEDIDs=0 NVreg_Mobile=1
After that I editted /etc/X11/xorg.conf and added Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP-0" to the screen section Everything is working now ![]() |
