Thanks....I'll give these a shot when I get home.
I really appreciate the help...I would rather keep the Shuttle and not pay a $46 restocking charge. |

Can you tell us something about your network structure? e.g: Do you have a router, or is the box directly connected to a broadband modem? Do you have switches or hubs? , ... (e.g. has ifconfig ethX mtu 1492 any effect at all?) I would recommend you to write a email about your situation to the netdev mailing list netdev@vger.kernel.org . |

I have a Cisco 1711 router with a 4 port switch built in.
I'll try this when I get home and will let you know how it goes. Quote:

Using the same domains that I'm using on my computer running Kubuntu.
I'm doing a simple speed test via www.speedtest.net or just browsing in general is extremely slow. |

I decided to RMA the unit. I'll go with a more Linux friendly motherboard (Asus).
Thanks for the help though...I really appreciate the effort. |

hi I test the speed of my internet in many sites I got the best and accurate speed results from this site ip-details
my results are download=1.04kbps upload=0.77kbps I dont know the reason why my speed seems to be slow many of them said that if Cable Internet services share bandwidth with satellite Internet access. If there are many subscribers using that same bandwidth, it can slow down the connection. kindly guide me how to solve this problem . |
