Why remove dri and GLCore

Hi.

The Nvidia readme suggests loading and unloading some modules:
Load "glx"

Remove the following lines:
Load "dri"
Load "GLCore"

It seems that my current Xorg (7.3) loads all my modules autmatically (at least I don't have a Modules section in my xorg.conf

So glx truetype etc. is loaded but also dri (GLCore is not loaded).
Why does the readme say that dri should be removed and should I manually disable loading of that module?

The dri and GLcore modules are used by opensource 3D drivers that use DRI. The nvidia drivers don't need them. I have no idea what Xorg 7.3 is doing.
