Default Suse 8.2 / nforce drv source / problem

Hi all,

I installed Suse 8.2 freshly. After that installed kernel-source and tools like described in the nforce source tar. Compiled and installed the drivers like described. Now th eproblem: After typing insmod nvnet the modul says, it's compiled for xxxxx-4gb kernel, but my system uses xxxx-4gb-athlon kernel. I understand the meaning of this message, but how can I compile the drivers for my running kernel? Any suggestions?

hmm,

i can only guess: the driver needs the propper kernel sources. check if the linux symlink in /usr/src points to the correct sources...
