see, the whole bulb replacement is still a more attractive "negative aspect" if you want to call it that than a TV replacement that a plasma or lcd would neccessitate when it burned out.

But I'll be honest, I seriously doubt I'll still be rocking that thing in 10 years time or however long I have it. well... who knows... our trinitron is over 10 years old. :/

The backlights in LCD's can be changed, it is only Plasma sets that you throw in the trash.
