Default Problem with lastests drivers 100.14.11 and 100.14.19 in console

Hi,

Ive been looking thru the forum to see if somebody else is having the same problem than me but it seems that Im the only one (or Im not a really good searcher).

The drivers (100.14.11 & 100.14.19) work in the X system really well (actually in compiz-fusion they work nice) but when I change to console (CTRL+ALT+F1) the font is blured, like if the monitor frequency wouldnt be right (its well configured in the xorg.conf).

All of this starts after nvidia kernel module is loaded into memory.

I post an image to explain the effect:

I switched back to driver 100.14.09 and the problem is fixed, so this is the driver I have installed at the moment.

My computer is Sony VAIO FE31H, NVidia 7400 Go 256Mb VRAM. Ubuntu 7.04.

Thanks,

I've found a workaround for this problem:
Simply add "vga=773" to your kernel line in the menu.lst of grub. After a reboot the framebuffer will be set to a bigger resolution (1024x768), with which the fonts aren't blurred anymore .
